produces energy from a free solar source - the air! and thanks
to its efficient heat pump technology, you can now achieve
electricity savings of up to 80%1 while doing your bit for the planet too.
Odysséo operates in ambient temperatures between -5°C to +35°C
and stores a capacity of 270 litres of economic hot water for up to a
household of six.
The ambient air* is drawn in to the unit by the fan, (1) which then heats the refrigerant in the evaporator. (2) The refrigerant flows to the compressor (3) where the temperature increases further.
In the condensor (4), the refrigerant transfer its heat to the water in the tank. The refrigerant is cools and becomes liquid. The expansion valve (5) Transforms the gas to liquid and allows the refrigerant to begin a new cycle in the evaporator. The electric booster (6) is turned only when necessary.
There is an option for the heat pump and element to work in tandem during high demand for hot water.
The electric element is suitable for heating highly mineralized water and it can be easily replaced without emptying the tank.
* The ambient air does not need to be heated
CLEAN AND GREEN HOT WATER
As we move to a ‘greener world’ of thinking, Odysséo is built with recycable materials which ensures it will
remain environmentally friendly after its service life. Odysséo’s packaging and operations is ecologically
friendly too as it is polystyrene free and depending on local climate conditions, Odysséo releases 3 to 10
times less greenhouse gases than conventional fossil fuel hot water units.
All in all, Odysséo is simply one of the most environmentally efficient and economical water heaters available
in the market today.

The Odysséo Heat Pump Solar Hot Water System is designed to perform in the most trying climate conditions. Our advanced solar technology operates in extreme environmental temperatures from -5°C to +35°C and can even obtain water temperatures in excess of 60°C with the heat pump. Our double wall exchanger condensor prevents contamination of stored hot water by the refrigerant and reduces
mineralisation build-up, prolonging Odysséo’s life.
24/7 WHISPER QUIET OPERATION
The Odysséo works 24 hours a day, extracting heat from the ambient air, so you’ll never run out of hot water. The energy efficient heat pump is always used in priority and only the back-up element switches on in very cold conditions or when an additional supply of hot water is needed.
THE ODYSSÉO HAS INTUITIVE, EASY TO PROGRAMME CONTROLS
The regulation of the Odysséo is designed for easy use and has three modes to control heating function. One can choose between auto for maximum comfort or eco for maximum economy. If there is an increased need of hot water, the boost function can be used.
